My fire emblem sacred stones game is messed up I got it used from gamestop when I turn off the game and leave it for long periods of time or turn it off multiple times my file will be deleted when I turn it back on

Ive got two options for you:
1. You return the game to game-stop, say its defective and get another one. You'll probably need your receipt.
2. you download a gba emulator from zophars domain and find the rom elsewhere. thus allowing you to play the game on your pc.

don't do that if you no longer have the actual game then you can't legally own the rom. so unless your against playing FE on your pc for some reason, don't trade in you game.
unless they let you trade it for another one no charge.

you dont need one. Any old computer can run a gba emulator.

get your emulator from here http://www.zophar.net/gba.html
And for the rom, create an account here, and then do a search on the site to find your rom. Cause I'm nice (remember to create a free account first)
And since your new to the rom industry, let me give you a simple rundown of the legality of downloading roms.
simply put all roms are illegal but there are some exceptions:
1) If you own the actual game
2) If the game is really old and i mean like snes old.
